The parable of the three fishes

So I went and saw Huston Smith tonight, speaking at the Book Passage in Corte Madera. He's the most well respected philosopher on the subject of religion in the entire world.

A while back, I hung out with a chick who said that this 87 year philosopher was sexy. I think need to marry that chick. Why don't I have her number again?

He said some cool stuff. The last time I saw him, he gave us the parable of bird in the burning forest. This time, he gave one of three fishes.

The big fish says "This world is a just one."

The little fish says "This world is an unjust one."

The medium fish says "Sometimes this world is just and sometimes this world is not."

I liked it.

This dude oozes wisdom and compassion.

Later.
