Sooo I am updating two days in a row! I think I am enjoying this LJ thing again :)
Today was semi-uneventful. I got up early, read for a couple hours. I had to finish this book I have been reading for my Child Psychopathology class. Its about an Autistic boy and his mom wrote the book that details his diagnosis at age three and then his treatment. This kid went through so much drug therapy and behavioral therapy, even had a diet where he could eat so little, and now after three years his kindergarten teacher didn't even know he ever had Autism until his mom told him. It's incredible, I love reading happy stories like that!
Anyways, then I got ready and headed to Girls Inc to work on the grant proposal that I have to write with three other girls for Social Work. Only one other girl showed up, figures. The rough draft of it is due Monday night in class and we haven't even gotten a final estimate from IT and Best Buy on how much money we would need to get funded to get the girls 10 computers, software for them all, desks, a projector, and a few other things. AHHHH! So after that I got back at 1ish and read until 3. Then I had to go back to Girls Inc till 630. We took the 5-7 year old girls to the park and played games with them and such. They were so not good today. Two of them ran themselves into the ground and that was only on the walk there. I don't know how many girls I yelled at for not staying on the sidewalk, and they were pouting and being sore-sports like crazy. But I still love em.
After Girls Inc I came back and did some other work, and then went to C-Shop for dinner with Keri and Tara. Then after watching One Tree Hill (so sad, I can't believe Keith actually died!!!) and now I just finished writing my paper for Child Psychopathology. And my final note of the day is that everyone should go download the first and what they have of the second season of Wildfire on iTunes!!! It's such a suprisingly great show, Kris and Junior are sooo getting back together next week too and I've been waiting for that since the second they broke up last season hahaha! I'm so weird but you all love me anyways!!!
