This is a very important entry because it concerns something that really means a lot to me: my moccasins.

My babies died.
But they died fighting, to the very end. Things had been going downhill with them for awhile, since the hole in the bottom opened up, but I had expertly taped them inside and out and there was hope in me for them.

Then, one fateful night, K.Kovs and I got stuck in a downpour during a late night Red Bank P.I.M.P. run. I stepped on the wet pavement and my feet were soaked through; it was then that I knew that it was over. I love them with all my heart, but I can't go on living like this. I can't carry around a spare pair of socks in my purse, I can't run on tippytoes through wet grass, and I can't keep doing double handsprings over puddles. This is the way it has to be and I'm sorry; it breaks my heart more than anything.

A week later there was a Minnetonka Moccasin Shop box on my doorstep and I remembered how uber excellent a good pair of moccasins are.

It came with a catalog too, so I can read it before bed every night. :D

That's me feeling how soft the bottoms are. I'd forgotten what it was like to have shoes with real bottoms.

They're just generally attractive shoes.

Especially on me.

In conclusion, Injun Are has had a very good day.

Oh yeah, also, I've been in Boston since Sunday where Regina and I had some quality adventures. We chanced upon an endangered Goofalapagos Turtle on the Boston University campus and they pre-rejected our applications solely on the basis that we're too funny/laugh too much during information sessions. Every trendy kid ever was at Emerson College, Boston and Bentley Colleges were super nice, and I still don't want to go to college. We went to a super hip thrift store called The Garment District and everything was really cool and cheap, but I didn't like anything. Except for this sweater
, a 40 carat diamond ring, and fencenet stockings for prom. Them + my dress + pointy heeled shoes are going to = crazy dance disaster party.

robotherpes: did you write your lj entry yet???!!
Obviously, this is in demand so I can't keep the public waiting. The End.
