THIS IS ALL ACTUALLY WORTH READING BECAUSE I ACTUALY WROTE STUFF ABOUT LOLLAPALOOZA AND ALLLLLL AND GOOD BANDS BLHA BLHA BLAH

The clock is approaching 2 o clock AM and I am not wide awake. Recovering from Lollapalooza will be easy, just sleep, excercize and eat healthy. So these are things that we beleive to be easy, but in reality, when we are living, are actually very time consuming and expensive.

I have the most I have ever learned in my whole life in this past week plus a few days. Strange. So many amazing things have taken place.
Let's begin with the big thing, which is now a little thing that I don't care about and that has to do with a certain someone and a pool. Now, the situation, is very fucked up, as usual, as many things in my life are, but you know it was an experience, a situation, that I will look back on for the rest of my life and belike DAMN that was good, and then the aftermath, was bad. But kind of funny. Because you know alchohol makes people act very funny. And a lot of times, I'm sorry to say this, but very horrible.

It really twists with minds. And I know for a fact if those two wern't drinking, they would not have disrupted my perfect little idea of how easy life should be. Nope people need to be whores and screw it up. But of course you can't blame them, because they were drinking.
Ok enough with that.

But that time is now over. That little morsel of life is passing me by and I don't really even care. It happened. And what once was so exciting is now over probably forever, because HEY omg I respect myself too much to be in that kind of situation ever again... I think. And I really don't feel like wasting my brain on it for much longer. So let's all be friends.

Wow I am so not ready for all that. Or maybe I am and I just havn't been encountering the right people. Yes. That's it because So far these ones suck. Or that one did. Well he didn't But he ended up? Ahh whatever moving on.

IN OTHER NEWS:
Lollapalooza was very amazing.

OK BLAH BLAH THAT WAS ALL LAST NIGHT.

Now its like 12 and I will tell you all of the amazing Lolla-trip.

It began as Jen and I went on a 6 hour train ride into the city. We get there to go on another train ride to Tommy and Stephanies house. (Jen's aunt and uncle) We get to the house and stay up really late because that's how we do. The night before we left we got a half hour of sleep and stayed up talking to Justin (my neighbor) and eachother till all hours of the night. It was lovely. So we wake up on Friday and get READY! We have cute little outfits on and make our way to the train station, because we take an hour train ride into the city. We get there. Walk for a half hour to get to the park and run to go see Midlake because we missed almost all of their set. Then we saw a bunchhhhhh of bands....like:

The Subways = Not so good life. Very obsessed with themselves and too British. I just don't know. I only really like the song R&R Queen and as cliche as that is, it's really the only good one. Ok so they were done.

Cursive = Very very good live. I love them. I always have and I always will. They cellist is so amazing and well they are really real. They played new and old songs and thank god they played Art is Hard cause that is one of my favs. I was impressed and I htought they did a good job.

Panic! At the Disco = Ok so I know I'm supposed to pretend like I hate them. But you know. I really enjoyed the performace completely and they are really talented musicians. They did a cover of Karma Police that was wonderful and a smashing pumpkins song, that I forget now. They had these dancer people on the stage all dressed in heavy doll looking makeup and I just like them So THERE I LIKE THEM OMG!

The Editors = Eh. I don't really remember them. So they must have not been very good.

Iron and Wine = Horrible. It didn't even sound like them. I don't even know what I heard, but it sounded bad thats FO SHIZZLE.

Mates of State = LOVELY as usual. I love them I think they are one of the cutest things out there today and the fact that they are husband and wife make them even more appealing. I just like listening to their songs cause they are fun and hmmm GOOD!

Sleater Kinney = Uhm ok SO SAD THEY ARE BROKEN UP NOW AND THAT WAS THEIR LAST SHOW. But OMG was it good. They sounded amazing, and played some of their best songs off of the Hot Rock which is my fav album. Ugh I wish they would just play one more show in Detroit. Love them.

Death Cab for Cutie = blah. stupid. bad sound. sick of them. I could go on...but no. enough.

That was day one. It was really exausting and really hot out but it was really really really fun. We missed Anathallo and Aqualung who I really wanted to see but whatevahhh. It was still worth it to see the others.

DAY TWO!

Rainer Maria = I really like them. I love their song Earring, and I don't know if they played it or not because we got their late. But they were entertaining. Nothing special though.

Nada Surf = Nothing special. Kind of sounded like Death Cab. Whatev.

Feist = She was really good. Seems like a bitch. Me and Jen were SO HOT during her set I thought we were going to die. So we just took a bunch of pictures. But I liked her and her music. She isn't all she's cracked out to be though.

Sonic YOuth = Ok I thought they sucked. Sorry for all of you Sonic lovers. But their sound was mooshy and drowned out and it just didn't sound GOOD. Nothing was out of the ordinary and it sounded very sloppy and just not musical at all.

THEN THE NIGHT GOT GOOD!

The Dresden Dolls = Oh My God. One of the best acts by far. I am absolutley in love with them and I beleive they are so amazing and talented, I don't know why I never listened to them before because I heard about them forever and just never did. Hmmm LOVE. Sooooooooooooo good. SOGOOD.

The Flaming Lips = Ok here is another thing that I know people will freak out on but you know maybe I was just really sick and tired.... or maybe I just think they were too overdone and all the props and shit going on on stage was too much and all of their songs sound too similar and I don't know. I'm not a fan. They arn't BAD but they arn't GOOD. Really, after seeing the Dresden Dolls perform with TWO people and be just so powerful with the music and so intense to seeing them, with all that shit on stage and all, I was just liek wow, this is rediculous.

OK NOW FOR THE BEST ACT BY FAR......

Thievery Corporation = I always have loved. But now, they are my favorite band by far. They were SO FUN SO FUN SO FUN. Everyone in the field almost was dancing, waving their hands and having the best time. I had so much fun. They are all so talented, eclectic and interesting. They are from all different countries and every single song is completely different and inventive. They women are all so beautiful and the men are so sweet. They rap, reggae, sing, dance blah blah I could go on. But I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Kanye West = EH. I was really sick here. But he was good. Kind of. He could have been better. He did play the Workout Plan Song which was amazing and of course Gold Digger. I dont know. It could have been better. Whatevvvv. It was still fun.

DAY THREE!

Ben Kweller = Chilling as Jen puts him. He was good. We layed on the grass under our special tree and listened to him Sha Sha his way through his lovely little set. I enjoyed him.

Andrew Bird = Soooo incredibly good with the violin and looping effects. His music is truely beautiful. I really need to get some of it. He was really interesting and he doesnt sound like anyone else.

The Shins = Eh. Nothing special at all. I never really liked them though. So wahteverr.

Of Montreal = SOOOOOOOOO FUN. I love them. The crowd was dancing really funny because their music makes people dance funny and I really thought they sounded good and were really entertaining. Love.

Wilco = Chilling as well. Jen and I were delerious by this and I don't even know. We made funny videos during them and they were fine.

Broken Social Scene = GOOD GOOD. But I don't know, but this time there were too many people already and it was really hard to enjoy their set.

Red Hot Chili Peppers = By this time, there were 70,000 people there. It was realllllllllllllyyyyyyyy overwhelming, but it was fun. Jen and I tried to get up further and then it just got scary so we went to the side of the field on a hill and everyone around us was getting really high and then we went by the bathrooms and people were so tripped out, puking, peeing, smoking, hooking up everywhere. It was really dirty and I felt like I fell out of the sky and was placed in a really trashy movie or hmm cedar point on drugs or something while listening to the Chili Peppers just jam for like a half hour. Their set was horrible because they barely played any songs. It was just like ..... hmmmm what about all those songs you wrote. Oh wait thats right, you are so stoned you forgot them, so now its time to just JAMMMM in front of 70,000 people and make thousands while doing it. But I did like them. THey were just WAY better when I saw them like four years ago.

So that was the trip and bands. and it was very very very goooooooddd and funnnnnnnnnn and I love jen adn the biggest picture post of your life is coming soon!!!
