one year later...
so here it is. The night before my Senior Independent Project is due. I've known about this project since May of 8th grade. I've heard about the agony of it all throughout high school. I've been in seminars for it since Sept. of 11th grade, and wrote up my proposal around this time last year. I started researching the women of Rome one year ago, and now I'm turning in a 20 page paper on black jews. interesting how some things work out.
but anyway, tomorrow marks a milestone. (and i don't just mean SamTee's 18th birthday....HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAM!!!!) this is the first 'last' of senior year. this IS the end of humanities for us-other than speaker series (is that even happening this year??). oh, and what ever happened to that "Mediterranean Civilizations" crap that we decided on?? but anyway, after tomorrow and after our panels-we're DONE with the Humanities & Arts Signature Program...FOR-EV-ER!!!!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
not too nervous for exams.
Friday=AP Human Geo and AP Lit-the lit prompt i could SWEAR we did sophomore year (about how amazing England is from the perspective of Ms. Kincaid) and APHG I still have to study for.
Tuesday=latin....which is a complete joke. We have a paragraph to translate (level 1 of latin...last time i checked i was in 3/4 honors) AND we can use dictionaries. no studying involved there.
Wednesday=AP Stat...not TOO worried. it'll be hard, but hopefully not too bad. I know the stuff, just need to review a little bit more.
KARL IS COMING LATE FRIDAY!!! PARTY TIME!!! no work on sunday(yayyy-plus, im getting a HUGE paycheck soon!!), Spirit Day stuff on monday, and then 2 exams until FLORIDA!!!!!!! so excited to be in the SUN again...for 5 whole days with nothing to worry about before we're SECOND SEMESTER SENIORS BABY!!!!
