today was difficult
i guess whenever anything so intense happens anywhere in the world, dc is going to be rocked
it was hard to get on the metro this morning, even with all the extra security. remembering the attack on the train in Madrid last summer, and then London this morning.
work was hard too. of course DoS is very involved in numerous ways. im pretty bummed
i usually watch BBC World when i get home from work, and one of the anchors refered to the attack as something expected to some extent. then they flashed to blaire speaking. and i wondered if his speech was written months in advance.. you know? and then just altered.
my 1st thought was that is happened the morning after they announced london would host the 2012 olympic games.. but then when common sense kicked in i realized its more likely that it has to do with the g-8.
700 people injured. that blows my mind.

how scary.. and more than just the numbers are scary, its what it all means
