"I don't see why you couldn't have waited until morning!"

Altra just looked smug. :Because I'm hungry now.:

Karal shook his head and quietly pushed open the front door. "You're always hun--" His mouth gaped open and he stared at the almost naked people, slowly going absolutely beet red.

He could hear Altra snickering in his mind. "Umm."

Donatello was up getting some water and noticed Karal at the door. Moving near his cabinmate, he peered out over his shoulder.

Funny how he was suddenly very awake. "What the shell?"

Karal just sort of waved at the naked mutineers, practically glowing with embarrassment. "...naked." He was not awake enough for this and Altra's laughing was not helping things any.

:To get this reaction?: Altra suggested, still laughing, and Karal glared down at him before answering Donnie. "Sunlord only knows," he said weakly, stepping sideways so his cabinmate could better a look.

Which also had the effect of blocking his view slightly.

"Are you okay?" Donnie glanced from the mutiny to Karal, giving him a concerned look.

"Fine, fine. Truly, absolutely fine." He took a deep breath, decided to ignore Altra, and concentrated on not blushing. It wasn't the boys so much as the girl in the midst of them. "Just not quite what I was expecting to see. I wonder if one of them is named Alec."

Donnie peered out at the group again. "I'm not sure. I don't think I've met an Alec," he said, then sighed. "But I do know one of them is named Mikey..."

Karal dragged his eyes away from, well, right now it was the ground, and gaped. Again. "And I guess that must be one of your brothers?"

"That's Michelangelo," Donnie confirmed, shaking his head. "...Though it's not like I can be annoyed or anything. He's not any different from normal, except for being in a crowd of nearly naked people."

"True," he replied, managing a small smile. "Apart from the mask, I suppose that technically you're always naked. It's not," he glanced over, eyes landing on the only girl, and he hurriedly looked away, "quite the same."

Altra rolled his eyes and trotted back into Karal's alcove. :You can feed me in the morning.:

Donnie shook his head and looked away as well, embarrassed and pretty sure he didn't need to be staring at least. "No, it's not. And clothes look funny on us anyhow."

Karal nodded and was quite relieved to look at Donnie instead. "You're a turtle. Looking like a turtle is natural. Perhaps," he risked another glance outside, then away, "perhaps returning to bed might be the best option? And they might be gone in the morning?"
