After making it back to his room after his encounter on the beach, Seely had strapped his ribs and taken some painkillers.

Currently he was trying to nap and not jostle his chest.

Aravis had heard the radio.

As such, she didn't bother knocking when she went across the hall to find Seely.

"You're an idiot."

"Am not," Seely protested sleepily, trying to snuggle further under the blankets. Unfortunately he wasn't thinking quickly enough on his feet to actually try and cover his chest.

"Yes, you are," she said, stalking across the room to look at his chest. "What did you do to yourself?"

"Nothing," Seely replied, belatedly trying to cover his chest.

"Doesn't look like nothing," she pointed out, trying to look. "Let me see."

[socksofcool]

"No," Seely grumbled petulantly, clutching the blanket.

"I can't make it better unless you let me see," she pointed out, crossing her arms.

Seely started pouting.

"I was going to help," she said, raising her brows.

[socksofcool]

"You were being mean," Seely replied, despite the fact that she wasn't really.

"No, I was being angry because you did something stupid," she corrected slowly.

[socksofcool]

"I did not!"

"Yes, you did. Let me see."

[socksofcool]

"Make me."

[notqueenyet]

Aravis reached down to forcibly move the blanket.

[socksofcool]

Seely clung to the blanket.

At least until he twisted too much and let go with a wince.
