Party was last night... I guess it was kind of fun. A lot of things went wrong, and a lot of people upset me. The whole night was very symbolic of how much I've matured even over the course of just one semester. I know it must be weird for my friends to see me so buckled down now, when I was once quite the... hedonist. I was watching "Hackers" today (awsome movie) and Matthew Lillard's charachter Cereal Killer said,
"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things. What? It's Corinthians one, chapter thirteen verse eleven."
And it just kind of reflected my feelings of the evening. I feel like I've grown up a lot, mostly due to the bad choices I've made, and my other friends have been left behind. I was playing the part of chaperone more than my parents were last night, I even had to send Jay home because he showed up stoned after I specifically asked him not to. Well, the music was good, as was the food and some of the company. I look forward to having another thats even better, plus John's Big Big party is coming up the 5th.
