Today I learned that the acronym 'EVOO' becomes exponentially more annoying when spoken. Seriously, Rachael Ray, I'm starting to hate you. I thought the point of an acronym was to reduce the number of syllables? Here's a far less annoying option - "oil." Earth shattering, I know. But seriously, olive oil is the only thing she uses, must she specify it every god damn time? OMG. I don't even hate her that much, I don't hate her food and while she's pretty annoying she's really no worse than anyone else on the Food Network or TV in general. But, ugh! The EVOO! It gets me every time. Given the choice, I'd rather watch Nigella Lawson (whose food I love, incidentally) recite a soliloquy on the texture of frozen peas then go fellate whatever dessert item she's serving.
... Yeah so I just watched the Food Channel for the first time in weeks. I probably should have eased myself back into it with some Bill "Macleans" Granger or something first, but you live and learn I guess.
