Older Eiji

Tomoka was just on her way to the kitchen but was planning to take the scenic route-- or rather whichever way would help her avoid passing by Horio's room. As she rounded the corner near Ryoma's she was surprised to see a very familiar redhead standing just outside of it. Though the frown on his face at first nearly threw her off. Soon enough he seemed to recover and recharge himself; there was no doubt it was Kikumaru Eiji. "Well, it looks like senpai can still cheer himself back up as always." she giggled as she approached him with a friendly smile. "But so mean of you not to check up on all of you kouhai, or is it a boy exclusive thin?" Tomoka faked a pout up at him.

Eiji was so cught up in bringing the smile back to his face that he didn't even notice the girl walking down the hall until she spoke. Big blue eyes landed on her, unrecognition and confusion clear on his face for a few moments. A wide grin broke over his face when he finally associated the face with a name. "Tomoka-chan!" He gave her a small wave before pushing away from the door and stepping towards her. "Sorry, sorry~ I just got here not long ago! There's only so much of me." Giving her a wink, he motioned with his head for her to follow him. "Going this way? O-chibi's sleeping right now, I think."

She did so and couldn't help but smile again at his apology. It really was hard to stay upset with the boy for long after all. "Okay, I'll forgive you but just this once." she winked back up to him. Instead she took his arm and wrapped hers around it as they continued down the hall. "So whatever brought you all the way here, Kikumaru-senpai?" she questioned, ever curious and looking for a bit of gossip on all of her favorite senpai.

Smiling brightly at the forgiveness (and barely even reacting to the familiar touch), he walked with her down the hall, glad that it was mostly empty. He enjoyed people, but right now, Eiji was not in the mood to deal with strangers. He stole a glance down at the girl, sticking his tongue out playfully. "O-chibi's birthday passed a while ago. I was bringing him a present ~nya."

"How sweet of you~" Tomoka replied, squeezing his arm ever so slightly in a happy gesture. It really was nice of him to go out of his way to bring Ryoma a gift still even if it was late. "I was doing the same just the other day." That and she knew immediately when he had needed a bit of comfort. Though she wished the boy would call on her more often for it but there was no need for her to dwell on it in the company of her senpai.

"Ho~o Really?" He pulled her closer to him, gently patting her on the head. "Tomoka-chan's a good friend." His expression turned thoughtful for a moment. "I hope we didn't get him the same thing." His words were quiet, more spoken thoughts than actual conversation. Waving his hand in front of his face to "clear the air," he addressed the cute girl on his arm. "But...you've grown, you know? I think you got cuter!"

She couldn’t help giggle as she was pulled closer; she was good at forgetting personal boundaries the boy was equally talented at helping her along. Also, if it was anyone else patting her she’d probably feel like he was treating her like a kid but it was Eiji and that’s just how the redhead was. Besides, his quietly voiced concern was amusing. "Don’t worry I doubt my family has the same thinking as you, senpai." she answered softly in response whether he was paying attention or not.
His next comment she had to hold herself back from laughing again and instead chose to tease him a little. "Ara, Kikumaru-senpai are you trying to make a pass at your cute kouhai~?" Tomoka let out a mock gasp as she moved a little away from him. Though she was considerably flattered for the compliment; it definitely wasn’t something they all decided to point out to her or compliment her about-- she was just the same old cheerleading girl.

A small look of shock went over his face. He hadn't realized she'd heard him. He really needed to stop thinking aloud,he decided. "What'd you get him?" he asked, smiling down at he cute girl again. He felt lucky to be able to escort such an adorable girl around on campus, relishing in the few looks that were thrown their way. For a moment, he even thought her words were serious. A bit of offense was taken at first; Kikumaru Eiji had never been that type of guy. "Eh? No, To--" But at the expression on her face (one he sometimes pulled when he wanted to tease people), he relaxed. "Mou! Don't tease me like that!" His lower lip pouted out as he pulled her back to him. "Besides, I don't even like girls like that. ...Even if you are super cute."
