AMAZING DAY!!!!
Wow!! I had an awesome day...I'll start in the morning(where normal people would...). So, I wake up at 12:00 and take a shower, etc to get ready for the mall. I don't mind going to malls...especially with awesome ppl! Others, I learned, despise it(Allie and Van)! Anyhoot, Van comes by and picks me up and we're off to the mall! We got there FIRST(Allie says she was there before us but I don't believe her :)) out of everyone...the westbank boys...FIRST! It was weird...haha. Anyway, when everyone else gets there, we meet Georg(foreign exchange student), who is a pretty cool kid...he's funny too. We begin to walk around the mall and I can totally see the disgust on both Van and Allie's faces...I didn't say anything of course, but you could tell that malls were neither of their thing. So, we go into many stores, finding multiple stores with massagers and awesome chairs. Haha...those can prove to be fairly entertaining. Lol...one time I looked over at Georg while he was on a massaging chair he was shaken so violently by the chair, it looked like he was either being molested by the chair or experiencing a seisure. I looked at Camille and we kinda laughed. Allie had to leave early because Jodi is ruining her life...but, what's new? Well, Van finally got something he wanted when we sat down at the food court and had an ice cream cone...he definitely enjoyed that(especially when he was shoving the rest into his mouth...Camille made me do it too...thanks Van!) Well, if he hadn't had a bad enough time already...my Mother couldn't pick us up til a little after five. We had to wait for like 30 extra minutes. I felt SOOOO bad, but I think we had an ok time by ourselves just talking...I did, I'm not sure about him. Well, we brought him home and immediately had to go to New Orleans Centre so that I could prepeare for the awesomeness to follow!
The American Idol top ten of 2004 came to New Orleans to do a concert! It was sooo exciting waiting for it to begin! I couldn't wait! Well, I met Ireal and Gena and we had Subway for dinner right before the concert. It was SO awesome to see the both of them! They are GREAT! So, we went to the Arena so that we could see the concert and ended up switching to much better seats because Ticketmaster made a mistake(*was happy*)!!!! I saw Camille and her Mother come and sit about ten rows below us...they waved...they're awesome! The concert started and the three of us were soooo crazy...we were singing, yelling, and laughing soooo much! The concert was sooo good!! Diana was, of course, the best...followed by Jennifer and LaToya and George, and the surprise to me was John Stevens(INCREDIBLE)! Well, they finished up and we were all delighted with the way it went! Oh, I also talked to Camille and her Mom during intermission...once again, they're awesome! Well, I heard about this Meet & Greet thingy online that you supposedly needed tickets from Diana's Mom to go to. Well, I knew it was supposed to be by the tour busses, so we headed over there real quick just to see. It was supposed to be a thingy where you could meet all the contestants and they would sign stuff for you. There were many fans, but the police officers wouldn't allow us near the busses, so we watched from acrossed the street! Well, the top ten began to come out and head to their respective busses and were met with cheers and applause by everyone watching them! It was soooo awesome! They waved and thanked us and allowed a few autographs. Jennifer came out and sang to us...she's SOOO good accapella. Well, we waited and waited and LaToya and Diana finally came out! They wanted to see us, but the police wouldn't let them, so they began to "beat up" the officer so that they could come...I definitely got a picture of that! It was sooo weird to be sooo close to them! I got pictures of George, Jasmine, and Jennifer as well! Gena and Ireal both got George's autograph for themselves...he even put a smiley face on it! I was sooo happy for them! Well, after this awesome day, there is nooo depression here! I wish everyone could have been there! Haha it was awesome!
Well, I am supposed to go to Pensacola with Van on Friday, but there is a major possibility that we won't go. The two tropical storms currently active, are heading for that area...and we will be going to right on the beach. I will be EXTREMELY disappointed if we can't go..but, ya can't change the weather. And, I am SOO thankful for being invited. That was probably the most awesome thing anyone's done for me in a while! Thank you Van. I want to thank Elizabeth for inviting me to the mall! And I would like to thank Gena and Ireal for their awesomeness and also, coming with me to enjoy the best(and only) concert I've ever been to! I can't wait to see you guys at school, it'll be great! *hopes weather clears up...*
