Ahh now Perscitia. Merlin is so confused about what happened between him and Perscitia. He doesn't get why they got so angry at each other. To Merlin, being a Dragonlord is something handed down to him by his father, who Merlin loved and lost in a matter of days. Also, Merlin was used by the Great Dragon for his own ends, something he's never really reconciled his feelings for. So meeting Perscitia just made him grumpy and annoyed because he was being questioned a lot and ultimately, he is a good person. Merlin makes SHITTY LIFE DECISIONS but the fact stands. Merlin is inherently good and kind and wants to make people happy. So being told otherwise was very upsetting to him and he's re-evaluating his feelings towards dragonkind!! and so on.
Justin and Haruki were interesting! Also I haven't seen Baralaika's canon. WHAT IS SHE LIKE.

Perscitia didn't really get it either! Because it's not like she particularly thinks Merlin is a terrible person, at least any more than anyone else, but it was a bad first impression and she is very cautious in general and so she feels like it's logical to be wary. So she was like THIS IS ONLY LOGICAL WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND. Which is what she's like most of the time, honestly.
Balalaika is an ex-Soviet soldier who is now the head of a branch of the Russian Mafia! She can be very reasonable and charismatic, but she also has a hair-trigger and really, really likes waging war. And she's an excellent marksman. Also she's hot.

All of those sound good! Dean, in particular, potentially very interesting. Also Sherlock depending. :|a

Also, tell me why I should watch Black Lagoon, I'm really curious about it.

I mean um yes. I really enjoy the setting and premise - the main characters are modern-day (well, early '90s) pirates/smugglers based out of Thailand, and the whole show is really multicultural and just generally full of a lot of crazy dangerous people who are all crazy and dangerous in different ways. It's not terribly plot-heavy but it's full of awesome people being awesome.
