"No really, I was just hitting on the talent"
So I was reminded earlier tonight that I was once one who had a journal/blog. I figured as long as I'm thinking about the fact that it exists, I might as well update.
Yesterday was about the best night I've had in a LONG time. Ten Too Many played a show at Shannon's where we were THE band for the night (3 sets, just us playing) and people seemed to like us a lot. In fact, the crowd reacted so positively to us that we got 2 encores, and the bartender asked us if we could play on New Years. Interesting proposition. We'll consider that more thoroughly once the CD release is over and we have a better handle on whether or not the band will be breaking up post Eliot's departure. I don't think I want to think about that aspect of my life just yet. *puts off the important stuff*
But yes, yesterday was awesome. I don't think I've felt quite so alive in a long time (for various reasons).
I must remember to thank everyone who came out. It's always better to have familiar faces in the crowd.
