(no subject)
yesterday was probably the worst day of my life. for 4 hours.
jenn and i went to my parents house in the morning to go to the beach. we go to the beach, and its perfect out. weather was hot, water was warm, and the waves were big. i surfed for a while, ate cherries, and read a little.
then we got a phone call from my parents neighbors telling us sierra had escaped, and ran down the street. we flipped out. ran to our cars, drove straight home and began the search. completely fucked up and not knowing what to do i walked the streets in sandals and boardshorts, no time to put my shirt back on. i walked the block and the blocks around it for like 2 hours looking for her. asking neighbors, all that stuff. then one of our neighbors made some signed that i rode my bike around and put on posts. jenn was freaking out, and so was i. jenns parents rode the motorcycle down from agoura to help us look for her, and by the time they got to OC it was about dusk.
we were all standing outside of my parents porch, super sad, getting ready to go get some dinner cause we hadn't eaten since like noon. it was about 7pm. then, all of a sudden jenn jumps up and yells "i see her!!! shes right there!!!" and sure enough, shes down the street, running around.
so i drop everything, and run down the street to get her and she runs into this weird forrest type horse yard thing. i jump the fence and try to get her to come to me, but she gives me this playful little look, and turns and runs back down the dirt hill. like we're playing. so me, jenn, and some of the neighbors are searching the bushes for her. finally we get her back.
she must have spent all day playing in the bushes. she thought it was fun for us to try to find her. that little brat. we took her back to my parents house and she had a tick under her armpit. and a slug on her belly. we got the tick off, gave her a super flea bath, and now shes grounded. she has to wear her collar at all times, and if we go anywhere, shes on a leash. she will stay in my old bedroom is she goes to my parents house again. and this week we're getting a microchip put in her.
little brat. i dont know what id do without her.
today my brother has a show at the UCB theatre on franklin. its like a final recital from his improv class. should be fun. its at 4pm and is 5 bucks. if you wanna come callllll me
