Souji will be taken after the events of Persona 4, true ending and cross-referenced with the manga
character's age: Souji starts the game at his second year of high school. By the Japanese system, he would be seventeen. As the game takes a year to finish, he would be eighteen at the end.
canon powers, skills, pets and equipment:
Souji is a Personae user, one of many granted with the ability to summon what is called a Persona, soul fragments better known as the physical manifestation of a person's facade - the face that people show to the world. However, unlike others who can only summon one Persona, Souji is able to summon multiple Personae, granted by his Wild Card ability.
He summons and shuffles his Personae easily with the appearance of a blue tarot card, which he crushes and summons in blue flame. With his Persona, he can deal great physical damage and magic damage, but summoned Personae don't stay any longer than that, so fighting takes multiple summoning.
His primary Persona is Izanagi of the Fool Arcana, though at the end of the game, he is able to use the stronger form of Izanagi, Izanagi-no-okami of the World Arcana, the only known Persona of its arcana.
Souji's other means of fighting would be anything that could be wielded like a two-handed sword, though he has used odder items as weapons before. As for other equipment, he has a pair of glasses with special lenses but it doesn't seem to work...
personality:
Souji has been changing schools and locations repeatedly due to his parents' jobs. Because of this, he is emotionally distant from the people he meets each time he moves and always keeps in mind that he shouldn't become attached to people and that even so, he should "live well" at his new location.
This ability calls for the ability to adapt to any situation to please and satisfy anyone he meets, one that he's practiced and honed to befriend anyone, or rather, to live as peacefully as he can without any problems. He is able to intuit people's interests and intentions for his own advantage that he is able to fit the ideals that other people need him to be.
Even though he has just as many facades he shows to the world as the many Personae he is able to utilize, Souji is a calm, quiet guy who prefers taking the backseat to observe, and only intervenes and speaks up when his input is needed or when the situation goes out of hand. He also does this to improve his Social Links in order to grow stronger.
While his sincerity in initially befriending anyone might be in question, he is a dedicated man, one who will see things through to the end. The friends he may have gained through necessity are those he cares for and takes care of, even willing to die for them if that was what it took to protect them.
