I'm home today due to the shingles. Just one more day off and then I'll return. I figured I'd do more harm than good at work since I can't think straight with all of the itching and pain. Even the touch of my shirt against my skin bothers me - although it is better today than yesterday.
So I spent yesterday cleaning the house - roomba'ed the floors, did 2 loads of laundry, made a clean bed (I love fresh beds and later took a nap in it. I rarely nap!), cleaned out/reorganized the freezer, and cooked up a storm. While cleaning out the freezer I discovered chicken legs, turkey wings, and a london broil and decided that I *had* to cook all of them. I marinaded them - the chicken in a peanut sauce (for dinner tonight), the wings in Italian dressing, and the london broil with a recipe I found on foodtv.com. I had never made london broil before and it was pretty good for red meat, which I don't usually like. However, Ron loved it and asked where I learned to cook like that!
