Entrenched foundational law:
1. Drive slowly and cautiously.
2. Patch over any gaping potholes along frequently travelled roads.
3. Keep all alternative methods of transportation available.
4. Be open-minded about finding various new routes.
5. Do not advertise the building of new expressways to the public until they are complete.
I consider these laws entrenched because, first, I wrote them down, and second, they apply to much more than driving.
It's time I begin to make a list of goals. I need to keep myself focused.
1. Learn to play the piano.
2. Improve my French-speaking skills.
3. Sell 16K in February.
4. Etc.
I think university is terrible. As interesting as education can be, I find it to be an utter waste of time. I've been attending school for fifteen years now (JK, K, gr. 1-12, Mac) and the relevant information I have learned is nill to none. If you do the math, including summers off, by the end of first year, I will have been attending an educational institution for 53% of my life. Interestingly enough, what I am paying such great amounts of money to learn right now, I, again, will have no use for, besides answering Alex Trebek before the buzzer goes.
Bottom line? I don't know if I am coming back here next year. There, was that vague enough for you? I think there is a lot to life that I am missing, and I don't want to grow old and bitter, remembering that university was a time of conformity, pointless labour, and an overall breaking of my spirits.
We only get to be young once.
