I'm Still Alive

Dec 08, 2004 00:29

Holy crap! I'm posting! I can't believe that I'm looking at this screen. Life has been so busy lately. I find that my only free time is after midnight. I'm usually sleeping because I have to get up early for class, but I stayed up to register for next term. The stupid LIFE Pacific College system won't let me register. So I guess I'll have to just go talk to someone tomorrow. I just hope that my classes don't fill up.
I got a job at Homebrew, which is a small coffee place here in San Dimas. It's okay, it's a job. The people I work with are cool, they just don't have any work ethic. I think if the health department gives us a surprise we won't score real high. No one puts anything away. When I work I'm like a mom following her kids around to pick up after them. They've got me working about 23 hours a week, which adds up on top of school. I put around 20 hours a week into school, and probably close to another 20 hours for my church and U-turn if you add the driving. My bed has become my savior. I don't know if I've ever valued sleep so much.
Thank God for Christmas vacation. My parents are paying for me to fly home for my Christmas present, so I get to go back to Washington for 3 days and Oregon for 2 days. It'll be a nice break. My girlfriend's birthday is on the 23rd and I have a pretty big day planned for us. I don't get to see her very often either. Last Sunday was the first time her and I have hung out alone in almost 5 weeks! It was nice to get away. One of these days life will slow down and I'll enjoy it more.

I enjoyed reading everyone's posts again. It's good to know you are all still alive and doing well. I'll try and post more and fill you in on life over break when things are more chillaxed.
