(no subject)
Yesterday's game at McDaniel college left me filling unsettled. We were winning 1-0 but got a little too comfortable and let them score on us making the game 1-1 at the end of the first half. About 10 minutes into the second half there was a lightning delay for twenty minutes. At each lightning that followed the first one, the 20 minute delay would start over.
We sat in the locker room for an hour until we finally were able to step out on the field again. When we got outside, lightning struck once again. We had call the rest of the game, and were sent back home for a three hour drive. The game couldn't even count since we didn't play enough minutes. UGH! Talk about pointless.
This leaves a bad taste in my mouth because we weren't playing our best game and this seems to be a reoccuring theme when we travel. Hm....
