(no subject)
finals are upon us. i proctored for 3 hours today. that rather sucked. we were in 2 rooms to make sure people spread out, and for the first hour and a half i was in the large room with the prof, and he discovered within the first 30 minutes that he had made a couple of mistakes in the exam, which meant i got to run over to the other room two buildings away to tell them. fun. although i prefer it to sitting on my ass staring at 100 people taking a test. but now that htey have taken their final, i have to grade it. 4 questions on each of 130 tests for 520 questoins over all. and these are 25 point significant more than one page worth of work questions. and did i mention he wants them graded by tuesday? or maybe we get tuesday to grade, but in any case, i was hoping to take tuesday off. oh yeah, and i have my final from 11:30-2:30 on monday. i should probably study for that at some point. blah. so that means i took tests home to grade tonight even though they aren't supposed to leave the building. i graded i think it was 3 tests in about 2.5 hours. granted i was trying to watch snatch at the same time, but still. maybe it was more like two hours of actual work. but it means i will be spending all day saturday and sunday at school grading and i'll probably bring tests home both nights.
so randomly the other night i was looking back through some of my old entries. kinda funny to see what is there. sometimes i wish i had written more, although plenty of times i knew what it was that had been left out 'cause i could piece it all back together. i dunno. i guess it is just funny how things progress.
