Um I am jealous of your schedule. And that's saying a lot since the schedule I want for next semester is gonna be pretty sweet...Do you ever have to take more than 4 classes/semester? Here that's like the bare minimum you can take to be considered a full time student.

Technically.. since Math is 4 hours. I'm taking 13 HOURS of credit. I would get another class, but that would put me at 16 hours. Throw in one hour of credit for my piano lessons and that becomes 17 hours.. which presents a problem. At WFU you have to apply for special permission to get over 16 hours, and you have to jump through hoops to prove you can handle it.. and I really really really dont want to go through that trouble. So i'll just be happy with my 14 hours of credit next semester.

Hmm I guess if I count hours next semester, I have 17 (but only 13 credits). :/ One is a 3 hour chem lab and it's only worth one credit, which is lame. It just better not interfere with basketball...

14 credit hours sounds pretty amazing. I'm mad that my "lazy" semester is really going to be a pain in the ass between the chem lab, physics, and diff eq.

So yeah I am still jealous of your schedule...no class most of the week is gonna be pretty nice.

Oh man. 3 hours in a chem lab!!! Thats crazy. Thats also the reason i've figured out a way to completely avoid Chemistry and Biology during my college career.

My roommate has a 3 hour Biology Lab. I dont think I could focus on any one topic for that long without completely losing interest in it.

Haha well my intended major is biological resource engineering so no chem or bio is def not an option, even though I did get AP scores so I don't have to take general bio.

I mean at least I will be standing and doing stuff the whole time. Better than my music and politics class which is almost 3 hours and is basically just this one kid Jason commenting on everything even though he has nothing new or good to say. THAT is a horrible class.

Is Jason a TA?

I hate boring classes like that. Most of my professors have made class interesting though here at Wake Forest. Hopefully that will stay consistent.

BTW. Kudos to Maryland for their 2-1 win over WFU soccer in the ACC-tourney yesterday. We played you guys tough.. but we're just too young this year. Hopefully we'll make some noise in the NCAA tournament though (its a longshot).

No he's just an idiot. He's the kid who really wants participation points so he talks a lot but usually he's just repeating what someone else said or insulting someone (he once said that most women believe that it is still a woman's place to stay at home and not work...this was while we were discussing the feminist movement of which the teacher was a big part of ( ... )

Seriously. I'd like to thank you for beating our field hockey team in the ACC Championship game.

Now you've just got us fired up to win the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in a row. ;-)

Haha orrrr we could break your streak since we are clearly the better team at this point in time ;) Actually, it would be really cool to have a UMD/Wake final since they split their two games they played this season.

Noo... to say you are clearly the better team is a complete innacuracy. The talent level on our teams is more or less equal at this point. Given our coachs ability to win the big one though, i like our chances.

Last year we lost in the ACC Championship game to UNC (or maybe Duke?) I believe... and they ended up losing in 2nd or 3rd round of the tourney.. while obviously we went on to win it. So if history is any indication.. I wouldn't get my hopes up for the terps.

Haha I was kidding - we split the games, and both times it was close. The first was like 2OT 3-2 and the second was 3-2 in the last 40 seconds. I wouldn't say that we are better because we won once and now are #1 for the first time all season.

But then, if MD's mad skills (which are clearly superior to UNC and/or Duke) are any indication...I'll see you in the championships!

once again.. looking at history.. its really easy to predict whats going to happen this year.

Maryland=last years UNC squad.

UNC=last years Duke squad.

Therefore. Maryland gets knocked out in the earlier rounds. UNC makes it to the finals. We beat UNC in the finals.

...and dont complain about losing experience. We lost the best field hockey player to ever come through Wake Forest last year.
