(no subject)
Sooo my birthday was this weekend.. kind of boring b/c not many people remembered.. but Jerod did and he made me smile a whole stinkin lot.. when I woke up he surprised me with flowers (he remembered my absolute favorites - gerbera daisies and also mixed them with roses... sooo pretty) like I came down the stairs and he came around the corner carrying them... he woke up early to get them and waited there until I got up.. so sweet. He also is buying me a futon for next year as my present b/c I'm going to be an RA and he knows I need one!!! so exciting. I pretty much did nothing that day - I did have plans for it earlier in the week with a bunch of people, but they fell through.. I tried to catch some of Lauren's softball game, but when I got there they had killed the team sooo badly that the game was called on a 12 run rule... Oh! and then I played soccer with a bunch of really fun ladies - Laboe, Jamy, Lori, Lauren, Shirlock, Rosato, Steph and Paige.. and Lori's friend Ramell (sorry I don't know how to spell it, but you get the idea).. Then yesterday I had amaaaaaazing amounts of fun!!! I went to the beach with Jerod, Paige, Emily, Karen and Meaghan.. sooo fun! I swear, I love the fact that we can just go hang out, be ourselves and nobody cares how stupid or dorky we are.. nobody's about their image and everybody's just so comfortable being themselves.. that's what I love about those girls. We have so much fun being ourselves and just being around each other. We went to Hampton and played in the frigid water.. then layed in the sun.. then got some lunch and took 10 zillion silly pictures.. some of which were a little scandelous.. ahem Jerod ahem... haha. then Jess Cote and Andy-roo graced us with their presences and they joined in on the fun! We played volleyball (if you could call it that) with a soccer ball.. ouch. It was tons of fun.. even if we spilled somebody else's coke.. or made JCote bleed... or I didn't dive.. haha. Then all of the gals went in the water for a long time. So cold.. but it hurt so good.. haha.. we played in the waves and went out really far so that way we weren't in the break zone.. after you went through the process of numbing it really wasn't all that bad. Then when we got back I went out to dinner with my family to celebrate my bday.. soo that was great fun. Then my family went to Paige's house where we played with her puppy, Cosmo which is quite possibly the cutest thing ever! Thennnn we went to White's Park and played around for like 2 hours in complete darkness until midnight.. oooh boy.. we were hiding and scaring each other to death.. I hate the dark, I'll admit it, I'm a little baby - I can't help but being scared, I just think way too much, but it was soo fun. Today we helped Paige spread mulch and went swimming in her slightly green pool, then came back here and had a bbq. Then tonight we continued Playground Tour '06 and went to the one in Bow.. ahhh good times.
