Well, today's Christmas, and I'd say I made out pretty well. Christmas Eve involved a rushed dinner, dessert, and present opening session. Due to the fact that my dad's side of the family doesn't neccessarily liek to get along, their visit was short, and did not include church as usual. Instead, they left, and my mom, dad, brother, grandma, and great aunt went to mass at 8. It was nice, and the lady singer was awesome. Then we came home, the adult members drank (common theme you will notice) and then we all went to bed. Was awakened at 7:30 by my internal clock and my brother within a few moments of each other (I'm a child at heart when it comes to Christmas). Then, my brother and I woke up the entire family and opened all our presents. I got a whole shit load of books, DVDs, and CDs. I got a booklight, a purse, a NEW CELLPHONE (HELL YEA BITCH!), hot chocolate (my fav), an ornament, some clothing, and a promise of a day of shopping for jeans. Then, I watched Princess Diaries 2 (one of my presents) with my great aunt, who I think, enjoyed it more than I did, although it WAS a good movie. Then, I got dressed and all "pretty" thhen my cousins and aunt and uncle came. When all had arrived, we did the annual traditional champagne toast, and I ended up gettign to drink 2 WHOLE GLASSES OF CHAMPANGE (1 and 1/2 more than usual!)!! Then, we opened up more presents, and i got clothing, books, DVDs, and gift certificates. I have to mention the VERY SPECIAL book I recieved from my cousin, who happens to be looking over my shoulder and demanding I write this, with the beautiful wrapping job that he did that consisted of a Barnes and Noble bag. Then, we hung around chatting, the adults drinking (see the theme?), us kids all takign our turns at old school Sonic the Hedgehog, and arguing over stuffing before it was even ont eh table (an annual thing as well). Then, we ate dinner withotu any physical fighting (surprise surprise) and then we went back to bullshitting again. My family does that a lot, but I love it because it cracks me up. Then we had dessert, and played this new game my brother got called "Scene IT" which is a DVD based game, and it's trivia, this one was particularly Disney and Pixar movies. It was funny as all hell with people rangign fromt eh age of 10 to 85 playing this game and yellign out the titles and obscure details of these movies. Greatest game ever, hands down. Then, my Aunt Cindy left, and everyoen else is staying over. They leave tomorrow and then its peace and quiet again (HA!). Anyway, New Years' Eve is soon, and we get more presents then from family friends. That should also be fun... more drinking (THEME! THEME!). Hope all of you had a WONDERFUL Christmas!!!
