Ay Dios Mio! Estoy en España!
Wow! Tomorrow is already thursday which will make it just about my 3rd full week here in Spain. I can hardly believe that I have been living here with a family and going to school and enjoying life in another country. I tried several different kinds of foods, gotten terribly lost and had to use my knowledge of the language to get me back home, AND.....I´ve experienced the beauty of God´s handiwork in Nature ei: caves, mountains, natural springs, and waterfalls......
And above all, I´ve learned soooo much.....in general...and in spanish.
There´s no place like home, however, and I am going to be soooo happy to be back amongst my friends and family....
This weekend....Doug and I are ¨supposed¨to go to Valencia to chill out....but I am having a hard time really letting him work at his own pace....and guys are so dense sometimes (as well as girls....) in a way that REALLY annoys me The deal is....WE wanted to go somewhere where we can just be easy, away from the pressure of seeing momuments and crowds of shoppers and theives.....*sigh* BUT when it came down to planning and figuring things out.....it was like pulling teeth to get him to understand how to search things out....and then he just let me do all the work. This is a group effort and why am I the only one with the head ache of trying to figure out where the trains and airports and hotels are?
I needed to get that off my chest somewhere.
If all else fails I´m going to have a wonderful time wherever we end up going. I´m praying for a breezy sandy beach.
I wish I could add some pictures.....but the technology here in the university is not so aplicable.
Almost a farewell to Spain....time goes....when you spend it well!
