Happy valentines day everyone!
Man, do i love my valentine this year. It tops all of your valentines! It's my cello! hhahaha. I played for like 6.5 hours today in total. Orchestra rehearsal, rehearsal with my pianist, lesson and then two hours of practice. It really filled the time well. I thought that this day would be lonely and kinda sad for me, because it's my first vday without about a boyfriend in three years, but it wasn't that bad. It just isn't the right time in my life right now to have a boyfriend. I would continuously have to tell them "sorry, i've gotta practice". Kinda like i always have to tell my friends..
It's crazy, man. I have three auditions this weekend. Baldwin-Wallace (my top choice school!), the U of M scholarship audition through the U of M youth orchestra, and MYSO chair auditions (in front of the cello prof. at U of M). Holy shit.
So yea, i've really been practicing as much as I can.
Last year today, Jacob and I made an igloo. IT was funny, cuz both of us had always wanted to make an igloo when we were kids and never did. We didn't know that about each other until Vday last yaer (which was a snow day!) So we spent literally HOURS making this awesome igloo. and only ended up spending like 2 minutes in it haha. good times good times.
Anyways, today I sang singing telegrams to people during first hour. it was sooooo much fun!!! omg i love singing!
ooo and i might have a date to the battle of the bands dance thing in Detroit that I'm going to with some friends. I'm soo excited!!!!!! laisudowiausdlk.
I hope that everyone can take a moment today and remind themselves that they are beautiful. in so many ways, everyone is beautiful. Valentines day, to me is about recognizing and paying special attention to the beauty in life, whether it be a "special someone" or even yourself. So i hope everyone was able to do something to make themselves happy today! :D i know i did!
