Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
So today was the day after Thanksgiving, and what did I do? Go crazy Thanksgiving shopping at 6 in the morning.....ahhh NO, do homework....hahaha ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! Listen to Christmas music...well sorta. What else is there you may be wondering. Well duh, Sadies shopping with Sarah of course! We started our escapade at 12:30 at Party City and ended up leaving at 8. We literally traveled from city to city looking for some simple indian costumes. Party City only had the head-dress for the chiefs...it was tempting but we figured it would probably be better if the guys could fit in the picture too. So we were off to Encore. OK bad idea. They had indian costumes however when priced at freaken $60 for a piece of felt we were out of there. So after failing at our mission of getting a stupid indian costume, we really got creative. We stopped at the mall where I almost died from the stampede of impatient shoppers and 12 year old girls staring at the half-naked Abercrombie models to look for shoes...no luck. We went to Ross so Sarah could get some moccasins, and the Michaels and bought tee-shirts and puff-paints. Screw Encore and their lame $60 costumes, we were making our own! After we went to Boswells to see if they have like those feather headband things. Of course they had it, the only problem was it was attached to a wig. So again we got creative and bought some felt pieces and feathers. We went back to my house and made the shirts and headband things, and I have to say they are pretty sweet. Somewhere through our Sadies adventure we stopped at Starbucks, and Best Buy. We even blew a fuse in my room from drying our shirts! HAHA it was fun. I am excited for Sadies. I really hope our game gets changed, but it is ok, at least I know for sure my date is coming!
