anyone watching the England vs Croatia game right now?
it's halftime: 2-0...Croatia leading
haha, England is getting so owned right now
kinda glad, really don't like McClaren and his coaching decisions: looks like he made another bad one for benching Robinson in favor of Carson
and Becks on the bench? and going with a 4-5-1 formation? wtf?
well, England can still qualify for Euro 2008 if Russia loses or ties to Andorra
but we all know that will never happen

Turns out Beckham almost saved McClaren's ass, again. It was better to sub in Beckham for a non-existant Wright-Phillips. Go figure. What was McClaren thinking when benching Becks? Did he think Wright-Phillips was gonna magically cross balls to their lone striker, Crouch? They felt a lot more comfortable switching back to 4-4-2, too. How the hell were the players going to learn to play a 4-5-1 in a span of less than a week?!?!
As for the GK Carson, I'm not sure if Robinson or even James could have saved some of those shots. But letting in that first goal was pretty pathetic for being on the national level.
McClaren's a much better club coach than national team coach. Turns out he got offered the Birmingham City position today, too. I'm so glad England lost; not because I feel bad for the players, but because I feel McClaren deserved it. He'll probably get sacked by the time I re-post this. He's such a stupid, stubborn coach that refuse to admit his mistakes until the last second. (in a way, he reminds me of George Bush..haha)
vsarto was saying to me that England would possibly lose around $1.3 billion dollars for not qualifying for Euro 2008. Guess all those bars won't make as much money off beer the next two years, huh?
