US men's team played Panama today for the CONCACAF final. I'm not sure what that stands for. Something about conference of central and north America. USA won in penalty kicks. Woohoo! Landon Donovan rocks face. Same with Casey Kellar, the keeper. I know his step-dad. It was a really good game, but frustrating b/c USA was missing 3 starters and you could really tell. They've beaten Panama 6-0 before. Oh well, a win's a win. I can provide more details if anyone cares. The women's team is playing Iceland right now in a friendly. I'll update with the score of that when it's over.
I tried to ride my bike (actually Bryan's, but whatever) on a little trail near our house, but his brakes sound like a train wreck, so that didn't work. Darn. And yesterday I watched Edward Scissorhands, which is really good, but depressing and creepy. And Johnny Depp is weird, but we knew that one already. So that's my life for now.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:30-31
