I apologize for that embarrassing post. Yes, I mean the last post, but it should also apply to pretty much every post that I've made. And now, I prove that I am not paranoid or obsessive by using an obsessively, paranoid technique.
A long time ago.....
In a not so far away place..here.
I had STALKERS. At one time, I had at least THREE. Two of them shared a name, but they were all distinct persons. All distinctly nutty with an abnormal obsession for wanting me..... :) It was incredibly scary, but also provided great dramatic material for blogging. I set up a simple IP monitor that would chart visits of readers. And, it would creep me out when some of these girls would visit hourly (or more), daily.
Fortunately(?) for my sanity, but not my ego (and certainly, not for your amusement), the stalkers have gone away.
However, as someone who works indirectly in the market research business, my visitors interest me.
And besides, I'm naturally inquisitive (read: nosy).
That said, I do not look at the IP monitoring, as I do not care who reads (or doesn't read) my lj so you have nothing to worry about. I just happened to check the other day (for the first time in many months) and I noticed that my ex friend was still reading and considering that SHE was the one who ended our friendship, I found it perculiar.
IF she was err IS still reading, I figured I'd take one last chance to resume our friendship.
It has since been learned, that although her IP address (and other identifying information that makes it 99.9% certain that it's her) took great interest in the post (and even more so in the subsequent comments), she denies that she reads.
Coincidentally, her sister (who would have no idea about this latest controversy) happened to unfriend me on facebook yesterday.
