Concert!
concert: Halifax, Madina Lake, Greely Estates.
holy wow is all i have to say. how ever much i tell you will, never compare to living it in person. so we get to the club. turns out there are ONLY 150 people! yay. anyway, the opening band, remeber yesterday was really good. one of the best opening bands i have ever seen. we talked with them after, their bass player had really nice teeth. anyway, the next band The Vincent Black Shadow" was soooooooooo cool. they had a chick lead singer, and she was adorable. like 4' 11" and wicked skinny. she was cute, and had a super good voice. thei bass player was amazing, and had the coolest facial expressions i have ever seen in my lifeeee. Guitar player; insane. completely insane. jumped in the crowd, mouthed all the words, stuck his tongue out, you name it. the drummer, shy and quiet =) anyway they were awesome and i def got their cd for justin fr his birthday haha.
K Madina Lake. just so all of you know..... ive known about them forever. and i heard that they were on VH1? i have no idea but all i know is that i was 2nd row for them, and the lead singer, Matthew, def wished kenzie and i a happy birthday. he actually did a backflip off the half stacks into the crowd. it was so awesome. We talked with him after he came out while greely estates was setting up. he gave me a hug and was like "youre so cute, what are you doing in a aplce liek this, youre gonna get crushed" haha. i got a pic of him and me on my cell and he gave me like a million hugs, and we talked about how cool his hair was and all that stuff. he was so cool, oh and i got him to sign my wallet. haha
Greely Estates..... meh. i did not enjoy them. this was when the crowd got nuts. total moshing and chaos. but it was good, except for the fact that my face was smashed in justins back the entire time. =) their lead singer was crazy, but i was dissapointed, they are a post hardcore band, they sing, but live, during the parts where they are supposed to sing, they didnt, they just screamed. that made me mad. oh well. we hung out witht he first band while halifax was getting ready.
so yeah, you all know halifax. they were on the real world, got drunk. theyre on warped, they were the most popular band there blah blah. all i know is that when they were setting up, (i was front row for this) i told the lead singer it was my birthday. so when they started he comes out, and says "everyone wish Alli a Happy Birthday!" and everyone did! he told me they were going to play the next song for me. it was "broken Glass SYndrome" off their old album yay! so it gets better. the entire concert.... the lead singer was like, flirting with me. he would come up to me and sing to me, and touch my face and play with my hair, and like wink at me! he even shook his hips at me and like did the "come here" thing with his hands. holy wow. he was awesome. after the whole show all the bands came out. we talked with all of them and got pictures blah. i got my wallet signed by halifax and madina lake. it was amazing. the guys talked with us like they wree our friends. it was the coolest thing ive ever seen. the drummer for the vincent black shadow sand happy birthday to us, and the lead stage manager/merch guy was like "omg only 15 minutes till the twins birthday" haha so it was kenz, me, beef, norm, zach, justin, and kev and all the band guys in a group around the bar. it was so fun. =)
