Wow haven't done one of these entrys for awhile...
So guys guess what?
Today the Huntley farmside editor and writer for the Daily Herald (and the photographer guy) came in to interview the publications class cause their doing an article on us. So I guess the lady had asked Mr. Brown if anybody would be willing to write a column for a couple of months (or whatever) for the Daily Herald and he mentioned me so she got my name and number from me and she that it would probably start in Feb. (I had at this point told her I would love to do it). And after interviewing me (for the article) and just talking to her after the bell rang she said she might also call me to do some string articles for the Huntley Farmside because she’s trying to improve that paper a lot by bringing it up to 40 pages. It’s been disintegrating lately.
So yes I will be writing columns for the daily herald…….unless my mom won’t let me. I’m going to avoid asking her till I decide how I am going to ask her because I really don’t think she’ll go for it….. I handled the NW Herald one well so that’ll be a good start I guess. Idk I can just see her blowing up in my face when I ask her.
Last night I had baskeball practice and then went to Culvers (I didn’t eat anything because I knew she had dinner at home) and we were gone for a total of 2 hours, including practice, and she got totally pissed at me. Which annoys me because then I told her should she talk to troy about his lunch detentions that he’s been getting (that she didn’t know about) and she had him explain to her and she didn’t even punish him or even comment back to him about it… maybe I should go around shouting “rapist” and “lap dance” in my classes…..psh.
Whatever…
Fifi, you and I cannot skip class till I start writing those columns and till I got visit the news station…. I can’t get into trouble before these two things….
So I finally took this shot my doctor has been trying to make me take again. I hate it because it makes me nauseous the next day and the feeling doesn’t ever seem to go away, I refused to take it because of that. So she got some medicine that was supposed to make it go away and alls it did was make me dizzy, weak, and really shaky to the point of where I could barely write any notes and kept dropping my pen today….oh and the nauseousness didn’t go away.
I hate the bloody noses that the weather changes give me too. Just coughed up a nice chunk of blood….nice huh? Haha sorry for the weak stomachs…I’m so glad this is my own journal where I can say anything I want ;)
Well I’m tired and feeling sick so I think I’m going to go do some h/w and take a rest before I work out. Not sure if working out would be good for me right now but I’ve been looking forward to it all week…finally got my pass at the park district =) Then I might go see movie w/ my neighbor…..

My last thought: Maybe journalism isn’t what I want to do for the rest of my life. Maybe it does make me excited but…. What about the random odd jobs that I never thought about like, hey I’d like to be a hotel critic traveling around the country getting pampered on….. you never know!
