This day wasn't so exciting, only 4 goals in 3 matches.
Japan 0-0 Croatia
What to say about this match? Both teams lost their first match. It seems that they don't wanna loose this one. After 20 minutes Prso (Croatia) was fouled in the penalty area and the first big chance to score a goal was given. Srna shoots, but the japanese goalkeeper redirects the ball around the post. Croatia began to play more offensive, but they failed to score a goal several times. The second half was a little bit better with few chances on both sides, but the match wasn't really interesting. This 0-0-draw helps nobody.
Brazil 2-0 Australia
So who is Ronaldo? He really plays better as in the first match, but that was too easy. Australia played very defensive in the first half and Brazil didn't play like the next world champion. Of course they got some good opportunities to score, but that wasn't enough. Only minutes after the second half had started Ronaldinho passes to Ronaldo and he shoots to Adriano who scored the first goal. They are so lucky. They don't play great but they always win. Australia couldn't play defensive anymore and got some good chances to the draw, but in the last minute Robinho shoots at the post and Fred puts the ball into the net.
France 1-1 South Korea
South Korea got a very good tactic. Let's wait until Tommy and the French are tired enough so we can surprise and beat them. Why to shoot at the goal in the first 80 minutes? There's no reason, 10 minutes are enough for us. France dominates the match and scored after 10 minutes. 20 minutes later they scored again, but the referee got an other opinion. In the second half I really got tired and the French seemed to be tired, too. Great tactic, let's play forward, South Korea! And they did. With their first (!) chance in that match after 80 minutes Ji-Sung Park scored a crazy goal, it's not possible to describe it ;) In the last minutes Zinedine Zidane, awarded footballer of the year three times, gets a yellow card and this was his second one in the world cup, so he misses the next match against Togo. This is really tragically, maybe the match against South Korea was his last match ever.
