A new Chapter in a well loved book...
Starting off an old, well loved book is like a hug.
Warm inviting you know how it will begin and how it will end and it leaves you feeling great.
Well I've managed to start a new chapter in my well loved book.
After much thought and a few good swift kicks in the ass (thanks to those of you)
I have happily begun a new chapter in my life.
A chapter that I wasn't sure I was going to write or attempt to write for a while yet (other chapters and my own mind were getting in the way).
But here I am, writing this new chapter and feeling all the feelings I didn't think I could feel again 11 months ago. Hell I'm doing a lot better than I thought I would be doing. The chapter started before I thought I would be ready but here it is, started and seems to be well written with a good strong starting point. I think it can only go up from here.
I am still working with my demons, either striking bargains that I may not be able to keep (but should) or putting them out for good. Unfortunately some still burn as bright as ever but then I've had them since my parents started writing this book.
So here is to the new chapter, hopefully I won't make so many errors this time, and it will turn out better than any other chapter before. I still look fondly back on my other chapters, and read them, cry over them, laugh with them but it is time to move on. I'm putting my pencil to the page (I don't really like pens) and writing on.
