time for some updating....
the past two weeks have been really crazy and hectic. I survived the whole crazy rodeo, concert, funeral weekend. I am now getting prepared for the Apex celebration at the end of the month. This next month will be totally crazy. I started rehearsals on the new play i am stage managing called "Feed Me or Die". And I started my job at the Shakespeare Theater Company at their new theater. It is gorgeous and i am totally in love with it. It just sucks working an event when the theater is not finished being built. and i look lovely with the 15 new work bruises on my arms and legs.
And I had an interview yesterday to be the new receptionist at the Patriot Center. I desperately need the benefits right now. As a stagehand, i can't be guaranteed 20 hours a pay period for part-time benefits.
At the end of the month, I am also volunteering at the Maunter Gala since I was asked to go. The following week is the DC Kings Halloween show, the next night I am stage managing the burlesque show at The Crucible. I have 3 friends coming into town the same weekend. And I am volunteering at the HRC Dinner on the 6th.
Today i worked from 6-noon. It has been a rare day off. I spent all day on campus sleeping and just hanging out. I just needed some time to myself. Tomorrow i return back to reality....
