Ha ha. thrifthorror's gonna love this.

I...really don't get the yellow...boy and...puppy sculpture? What *is* happening there?

The dead baby doll is going to give me a nightmare, I just know it.

It's weird that they didn't post it yet. I posted it last night and it said it was held for the moderator. Was the dead baby/grandma joke too much? The penis pan? Captain blue balls?

I guess the community is just overloaded right now because of the lj spotlight.

if you've got a computer with ANY kind of document creation feature you really, really owe it to yourself to cobble together a little pamphlet of those photos and captions, print or photocopy 'em off and then hand them out at your roller derby events ( ... )

seriously! i couldn't get anything but a black screen when i tried to visit nedthedead.com but this article http://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/article/20090323/GPG0705/903230509/1207&located=RSS seems to bear out a lot of what i've heard... and i was especially interested to note the bit about

"...Sconniewood - It's the name for a segment in which shorts by local filmmakers will air." that is EXACTLY what i'm talking about! YOU TOTALLY NEED TO DO THIS, GIRL!

i'm not too crazy about the move away from the old B&W films that i loved but, whatever.

also, i don't think "cosplay" means exactly what this reporter thinks it means... or else, i've been talking to the wrong people. the wrong warped, evil people.

i'm not kidding - this is perfect. and, plus, it seems like a good idea to get the word out about your roller-derby stuff, especially if you and a couple other chicks went on the show in costume.

It would be great to get one of those old 35 mm video cameras.

I think Thrift horror is coming out with a book. Hmmm. A book like Found, Mortified or PostSecret would be great. A movie sounds hard though..

no way - it should be the easiest thing in the world. i mean, surely you've made a slideshow using windows media picture viewer, right? it wouldn't need to be any more elaborate than that, although i'm sure powerpoint or something would probably be an easier tool to achieve the same end result... and i'd be astonished if ben didn't use powerpoint or something similar all the time in his role as a gaming CEO.

plus, if you contacted the people at WACY, the guys who help Ned with his show could probably offer some great suggestions and maybe even a little professional help in the studio - you should totally do this, jen!
