three variations on a theme for

He is all surprises and smiles, openness, good faith. He is the kind of person stray animals would trust, although Greta doesn’t know why she thinks of him like that. OH DARREN. these lines are just too too perfect.
(Greta thinks she does this a lot, see things and people maybe once and then love them entirely too much. It’s not really a bad habit, but a guilty pleasure probably, like Chris’ cigarettes, Darren’s threadbare boyband shirts.) i think we all tend to do fall in love with things so easily, but the fact that greta falls in love with a darren's storybook is so lovely.
At some point she falls asleep again to the sound of two boys’ incongruous voices, the way their sounds and silences fill the stops and gaps. They fit. oh! the way you imply so much with just the little "they fit." oh god. you just placed the perfect chris/darren otp image in my head.
Somewhere between movies and books and television, his mouth must have learned to know better. It’s not that his mouth means to be saved for love, but it’s there, that gatekeeping instinct. To recognize only certain faces, certain warmths. GAH! THIS IS THE PETER WENTZ MENTALITY. he wants and he wants even though he knows things are going to HURT him, backs away and then goes for them anyway. oh pete.
Bites over other, older bitemarks. It’s the equivalent of wiping prints off a knife handle, or turning a doorknob with a handkerchief; destroying the evidence, concealing identity. It’s the idea of being untraceable. The idea of no-one will know i’ve been here, to do the things i’ve done. oh dear, this is just. i have no words, these lines make me completely speechless.
William could make you believe that your entire life could be reduced to a series of behaviors that get you laid: every movement unpracticed, but always leading somewhere. i feel like this line is canon. william beckett just has a way of seduction unmatched by any other.
…and i wouldn’t mind a shotgun funeral, actually, Gabe mumbles contentedly into the space between Joe’s shoulder and collarbone, voice hoarse from the smoke. it would be fine, as long as there’s dancing. the way you weave together funerals and weddings is just brilliant. this last line made my heart clutch, and think back to all of the references to funerals and dancing and princesses. it all just clicked so beautifully. ALSO: trohman/saporta = pairing that should seriously be tapped into by other writers. too good to ever let go of that. it's cute goofy love! no complicated hipbones and scraggly beckett hair!
you have an amazing mastery of the english language. the way you twist words into these stories is just spectacular. never stop writing, really. I LOVE (and you) THIS SO MUCH. it's sort of insane. each time i read it i feel/pick up something different. no matter what i feel after reading this, know that this will always take my breath away. just. ♥
OH NRWC WAS SO VIBRANTLY GAY. I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I FANGIRL FAILED ABOUT IT IN MY JOURNAL. NO PICTURES THOUGH BECAUSE CAMERAS WEREN'T ALLOWED EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE ELSE THERE BROUGHT THEIR CAMERAS.

-- WHEN I SAID I WOULD NOT STOP PUSHING MY CHRIS/DARREN AGENDA TO ALL OF FANDOM I MEANT IT. :D

-- it's like, BUILT IN. in everything he does. i don't know if it's a talent or genetics or a skill earned through years of practice and discipline, like, the ballet of sexual prepositioning. i was betting the latter.
trohman/saporta = cute goofy love! <-- IAWTC. ;D
p.s. sometimes i wonder if bden spends time in their dressingrooms practicing all the gay. then i remember HEY, IT'S NOT PRACTICING ANYMORE IF YOU MEAN IT EVERY SINGLE TIME.
