After a fun night of sharing wine, beer, rum, and a girl trying to dry hump steve castle and myself.. (hilarious it was...), i have come home to spend some time...
it's saturday! I don't have to leave the house at 7am and get home at 8pm... woo!...
I was sitting on the internet at steve's house and I stumbled open some Daft Punk videos i hadn't seen.
arghh. and i latched onto it. I got home closed my door, stole my dad's speakers and blasted out all the daft punk i had. Especially Aerodynamic... man, that song just has that something that makes me wanna jump for joy.
I'm so kicking myself i didn't go see them live. I won't be making that mistake ever again...
It was fun. I felt relaxed. I drowned out all the other noises (IT was incredibly loud. could be heard half a block away), and had some me time.
i'm sitting in the kitchen at the moment, listening to Bob Marley... as always.. it takes me back..
aww... aint i sweet?...
I feel good today.... I've been watching what i eat, and changing my habits... It's paying off..
i be happy right now.
Edit- We've all started talking about music, my dad happy that his taste is 'classic' and asking me about bands i like, what they're up to these days, and if they had any hits.
To prove his superiority he's handed me a 'home made' cd and told me to play it, as it has a few good tracks 'har har har, i'm awesome'...
To my suprise, it's one of MY cds, which the title track is "What cha want" by the beastie boys..
I'm actually still listening to it. finding songs i haven't heard in so long, and i thought i'd lost!
How fantastic. My dad's been listening and enjoying the Beastie Boys, Tool (even their Dr Love bootleg!), Maynard playing Kyuss' "Demon Cleaner", and even Passenger by the deftones! The cd didn't have track names or anything, and he wanted to know what song track six was...
turned out to be "Show me your soul" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers..
how funny....
daft punk,
