Oh hey, some cool stuff.
I already mentioned on Twitter & stuff, but I won a $25 American Express gift card in a drawing FedEx did to promote "Small Business Saturday" (which is the day after Black Friday where you're supposed to help the economy by buying stuff from small or locally owned shops or online). It's apparently being mailed off to me & should get here before Black Friday. I was super excited because, Christmas shopping money! Heh. XD
I also posted this on Twitter already, but OH WELL! The local newspaper's having a "Disguise the Thanksgiving Turkey" art contest thing were you can win a gift card to the local mall...so this is what I ended up doing:
Haha, the best part was that Zack's mom actually suggested it (I think her exact words were "How about that Korean song guy?"), but I thought that was perfect because Gangnam Style is still a novelty to most people, so it could work, right? Anyway, we'll see how it goes.
I've been having pretty good luck on Listia again lately. Last week I somehow managed to get over 16,000 credits for an old anime figure that was sort of falling apart and also missing like 90% of it's accessories. (Seriously, I would've never been able to sell this thing...it was a figure that I'd bought in a discount bin at a con back in the day.) But apparently since it was hard to find (it was an old FLCL one, and not even a nice one) a bidding war broke out, haha. XD I also won a vintage 80s set of mlp stampers that I can't wait to see in person. (If you know me, you know I am crazy for cute rubber stamps, lol, I use them on letters and stuff to friends all the time.) The set included Firefly, Bowtie, Skydancer, and Moondancer. Since these seem to go for a high price on Etsy and eBay, I was kinda proud to get them for only 3,000 credits. (Yes this kind of crap makes me happy, shut up.)

Turned out pretty good, I think. I might try to take a better pic later.
Today we've been having rain, thunder & lightening off and on all day, so I've just been taking it easy and working on projects. Zack & I managed to even do some voice recording in between bouts of thunder, which was lucky.
All in all, it's been a pretty great weekend.
