Hey, LJ. I swear I'm not ignoring you, I just haven't really gotten around to posting anything lately. Life's been a strange mix of hectic and boring in the span between my last post and now. Work's been keeping me busy, but we're also starting to get geared up for the move to the cute new house. Which I finally got to see inside recently--and OH, MAN. I'm in love with this house. Our bedroom will have a cute little window seat, there's a HUGE backyard (with a tree swing!), the den has bay windows, and just...ahhh. ♥ I love it. As much as moving always annoys me (even if it's only across town), I'm looking forward to when they're done putting in our new carpeting so we can start moving in. It's gonna be awesome. (And yes, I'll try to take some decent photos of it once we do.)
Did I mention we're also getting a kitten as a housewarming gift? Cuz we totally are.
I did manage to finish up some icons that I literally started making almost a YEAR AGO. Durrrr. I can't remember if I mentioned here or not, but I made a new LJ just for icons because my old one was old and full of busted links because my old image host is gone. (Oops.) So you can now find my new icon posts (whenever I get around to 'em) at carelessmonday. (Yes, I made it a private community instead of a journal so I don't have to log out to post stuff. I AM THAT LAZY. Also, "Eden of the East" reference GET!) I made a bunch of lolzy Fushigi Yuugi icons (in the vein of my "LOOK AT THIS CUTE SHIT!!!" Miaka one), and just posted the first chunk of them there. Hopefully this new journal will help me feel inspired to make more icons. I miss making 'em sometimes. XD
So yeah. Ooooh. My life is so exciting right now, yes?
