Back from the grave
It's been a very long time since I posted in my Livejournal. A lot of things have happened (most of them good) in my life, though the current state of FFXI and I daresay the bleak outlook for the future has me contemplating the game, in what it means to me currently, as well as in the past and possibly in the future.
I think the game will die before my lack of interest in the game does. Or the two will go hand in hand. I feel like those few of us who remain from so long ago, are like zombies. I once remarked sadly to Cylass (see original spelling!) several years ago that FFXI had started to feel like it was a war we went through and those few of us left were the survivors. With so many people gone, so many good memories behind, it's hard to imagine a pleasant future.
This post was intended as a cursory update. I intend to start using my livejournal quite regularly now to comment on what's going on, what's happened in the past and plans (if any for the future).
For now; I just solo'd an ENM that dropped crap. Thats all I have at the moment, except buffer on RDM is recapped. The good news is that I am capped on PLD, RDM, BLM and DRG. BLU needs around 6K and WHM about 10k) I'll try Boneyard Gully and Attowa Chasm tomorrow.
