[Earlier today, if you were to visit the battleship hangar, you may have noticed that the Hagane has finally been removed and relocated for repairs. In its place is a very similar-looking battleship -- and if you were at Aidoneus Island, Ingram's betrayal, or Operation SRW, it will look very familiar to you.
However, the bridge crew has changed completely. At the moment, the former crew of the Hagane is familiarizing themselves with their new interfaces. It won't take long, given that both ships are Space Noah-classes. And the most significant change is the man standing next to the empty captain's chair.]
The third Space Noah-class battleship... The Kurogane...
Everyone, I have good news. Thanks to the generosity of Ratsel Feinschmecker and General Hauwsr's persuasion of the higher-ups, I'll be able to remain here aboard the Independence1.
For those who don't know, there were originally three Space Noah-class battleships. The Hagane may be out of commission and the Shirogane may be in the hands of the enemy...but the third ship, the Kurogane, is now under my command.
I would like to ask one thing of all of you. Until this campaign is over, I am not to be addressed as "Captain." I am taking on the title of "Deputy Captain." Captain Daitetsu's spirit will remain with us until the very end. Of this, I am certain. And until he can rest in peace, I will not usurp his legacy.
