I'm so lonely without you in my life.
So. I've been away for a week - OK, not AWAY, but mostly offline. Home is in a state of disarray that would put off junkies, and I blame the company that makes the kit from which we had hoped to construct our new computer desk. I can't think of the company name right now. Whatever. Computer has no home. Therefore, Loki has no internet access at home. I can't even check my email at school, the firewalls don't allow me to go to my mail server.
I know the world is not an ideal place. Still, it would be nice if once in a blue moon, a kit project would come with all of the pieces. We have all of the wood components, and we have plastic screwhead-cover-things we don't even need for this piece of furniture, but what we don't have are five sets of screws, without which we can't even finish putting together the drawers for the desk. Argh, and stuff.
I will not go bald over this. I will stop pulling at my widow's-peak, and telling myself that the pain is sorta nice. I will stop wondering if alpha_aconite has changed his userinfo back yet (he hasn't). I have a RL and it is waiting. Fuck. What about AIM?
5-MINUTE UPDATE: Can now happily say, online at home, though only because we moved the old desk back while we wait. Is V. irritating that parts have not yet shown up. Has been 2 weeks since we called them to send the screws. FedEx SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS LONG. Argh.
