In an adult toy store. My company is quite well known in the Lower Mainland, and I have the graveyard shift at the Whalley store, three nights a week. These are 12 hour shifts,

It's all video, no live people.

They have the peep show - a variety of short videos, people are in there like 10-20 minutes.

And then there's "previews" which are actually full length porn movies (60mins and up)... on VHS (seriously).

And me, out front, playing Words With Friends on my phone, or cruising Tumblr.

Heh, I think that happens no matter where you interact with the public for your job.

I worry a bit about people-burnout. That happens to me pretty quickly, but this is only 3 days a week, so I think I'll be OK. I get to come home on Wednesday mornings, have a cuddle with Jay, and then pass out hard for 12 hours if I want. We used cardboard and duct tape on the bedroom window so I have a nice, dark place to sleep.

I need a new icon for this job. Maybe a dildo, with a jaunty fandom-ish quip.
