HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY! I LOEV YOU ALL SO MUCH!
OK. So.
I have had 2 (large)alcoholic drinks, and am feeling them OMG. They involved vodka, chocolate milk, and a light-and-dark kind of alcohol that comes in an oddly-arranged bottle and I can't remember what it's called. Over a bit of ice, of course. Have retreated downstairs to check my sugars and possibly play video games, as upstairs is very loud right now and the kitchen was on fire about an hour ago.
Nope, not kidding. Some oil in a catch-pan left over from a previous round of cooking caught on fire while Alli was heating up the hors d'oeuvre selection. This was quickly remedied with judicious applications of baking soda and then we aired out the house a bit. The snackies survived admirably, and were delicious.
This is me tipsy. Not much difference, except I'm quite dizzy and feeling sleepy. It may be time to go tip over on the sofa and see about those games. Super Mario Sunshine, probably.
Have left a request that when Jay gets home he should come and find me, to wake/remind me to come up and do the midnight moment. Bye!
