If I believed in the possibility of an afterlife, I'd want things like this:

1. Almost nobody likes anyone better than almost everyone likes me. Because I'm insecure like that.
2. I have at least one amazing power that other people don't, like... flying, or turning into an animal. WonderLoki Activate! Form of... spoiled housecat! And it doesn't hurt to do it.
3. The conflicts don't always resolve in my favor, but the ones that really matter DO, as long as I put in the effort. Yes, I still want some strife and discord. Perfection is fucking BORING.
4. Nobody ever WANTS to hurt anyone else. It'll still happen by accident or misunderstanding, but never deliberately.
5. Magic is real. All the best kinds of magic.
6. Nobody's kid is ever an 'accident' or a 'mistake'. Fathers don't ever leave of their own free will. Neither do mothers.
7. People can communicate (mostly) clearly with animals.
8. No organised religion, and nobody cares if you worship anything or not.
9. Loving is easier than fearing.
10. Dancing badly doesn't exist, because all dancing, no matter what it looks like, is recognised as an expression of feeling of some kind.
11. Opinions are recognised for what they are - valuable, but not absolute.
12. Logic and reason trump fanaticism, even if I'm the fanatic.

This list is not, by any stretch of the imagination, complete.

Essentially, I want my afterlife to star me as a typical Harry Potter Superstar Mary Sue. Only, y'know, with more cynicism and actual wit, and vastly improved plot and characterisation. And a bit less mysticism.

you make me happy when skies are grey, i want a million dollars and a pony, social commentary, i believe in virgin birth and unicorns!, i want to be 4 again, i've been reading again, go to sleep already
