Today, whilst browsing the Science Fiction section of Chapters at Strawberry Hill, I started singing along with my iPod. And dancing a little bit. Or maybe more than a little bit.
I did get scattered applause from other customers after I clued in that I was louder and much more visible than I thought, and stopped.
Hey Ya by OutKast is the culprit. Seriously, I've said it before, that song makes my feet itch. I just LOVE Andre Benjamin and his music, folks.
It's gonna be fun when I go back for the Book 7 release party and stuff. Wonder if they'll remember me?
The Friday Five!
1. What is your favorite Book 7 theory? Snape is Dumbledore's man and always was. This will be proven in the penultimate scene, and then the poor bastard will die anyway, because JKR has been telling us for a decade that we really shouldn't get attached the the guy.
2. Which movie soundtrack do you like best and why? Goblet of Fire. I'm a sucker for The Weird Sisters.
3. How long do you plan to spend reading DH? I'm going to devour it in as little time as possible, starting at midnight, July 20/21.
4. If you could have any character for a LiveJournal friend, who would it be? Tough one! Ron might be fun, but he'd never bloody update, though you could probably count on him for comments. Snape would write moody shite about his dark and tortured life, and friendslock every entry, and the 'What Kind of Flower Are You?' memes would all go in private entries because nobody should ever know he did them. Hermione... no. Draco, if he were as witty as fanon insists. He'd be funny, and sarky, and possibly not so hateful as he really is.
5. Have you ever had a teacher/professor that reminded you of a Hogwarts professor? How? My Grade 3 teacher reminds me now of McGonagall. Same stern, disapproving demeanor. Same pinched delivery of most speeches. Sadly, she wasn't any kind of ally for anyone. Crabby old hag.
