Merry Xmas, everybody!
Great grey goats, I'm tired. But it's been a good night. There was chocolate, and funny security guards to talk to, and soon I get to go home and sleep, and then have a big dinner with holiday favorites and possibly booze (Kalhua! ...do I ever spell this right?) if The Mum's planning panned out.
She's up and about more. Making decisions, taking initiative, and recognising that many things need to be done in a linear fashion, like: boil water, add noodles, simmer, drain. Before, it was along the lines of: put noodles in cold water, stare at noodles and water, give up. I doubt she'll be ready to go back to work by January, but she's much improved. Also, sense of humor returning. That's an important thing.
Cheers! I'm feeling the warmth from the flist, and hopefully reflecting some back.
