E: “You are a beautiful glass figurine. Happiness lifts you up, but be supported by happiness that is not supported by earthly things. Human hands will falter. They may drop you. Drugs will do nothing but lower the ground and make you think you are happier. But you will just drop lower. You may try to lift yourself up, but as being human, you will fail, and you will fall. So be lifted by the One who cannot change, who will never falter and forever pull you up. He will pull you up into eternity, into heaven. But you cannot reach it through purity unless you do not truly live. You will live, you already have. But there is more. You still have a good life ahead of you. Learn. If you try to find yourself through purity, you will never understand yourself, and God will be just the good guy in the sky. But if you die as such, you will have the faith of a child, and come unto the kingdom of heaven. However, if you learn, you will be dropped by false trust, drugs, and whatever else may come. If you have not learned, you will be dropped until you do. You may break, and you may never be able to put yourself together again. You will give away your pieces, and you will just be a few dispersed shards. But you are never beyond redemption and happiness. You can always be pieced together with help of others, especially those who have your pieces. However, if you piece yourself together alone, you will learn more than you can comprehend right now. You will see how you are put together, and if you then trust God, you will see how others are put together from a higher perspective, and by viewing them all, you will have the ability to take them with you, or show them the path to God.”
K: “If you advise me one thing, though, what would it be?”
E: “Seek the truth. Not the kind you can say, only the kind you can think about. Find the deeper reasons. Delve as deep as you can, and at the center you will always find God. I promise that.”
Gotta love the old love stories I started writing about an overly deep man with an overly shallow woman. I guess that's how I viewed the world at the time. But man, Elijah says some cool stuff!
