My weekend

I have had a pretty busy weekend. Friday was the Lionel Richie concert in which we were sponsors and it went well. Wouldn't you know it though...it was hot as hell (102 degrees) and we were out there setting up since 1:00 and stayed out there till about 9:30 at night. I snagged some tickets for my mom and my aunt and also gave them our backstage "VIP" passes to meet Mr. Richie. They said they had a great time and that made me happy. Both of them do so much for me and it was the least I could do...Meanwhile while they were in the concert hall, we were promoting our happy little asses off. We had my brothers damn nice '05 stang out there (which drew a shitload of attention) and handed out brochures on all the stuff we offer. IE...full service gas pumps, dealership capabilities, factory flash upgrades, etc...so yeah, good times were had. After that we went to Wing Stop and ate then went home. I don't think I have ever been so happy to take a shower in all my life. It was so hot and humid then going back and forth from the outside into the cold concert hall. I felt sticky, stinky and just plain nasty. After the shower, I felt so wonderful. While there, I ran into an old flame of sorts. Kinda scary. He is some fire supervisor something or other for the city. He used to be just a fireman when I went out with him. Nothing serious, never slept with him, just dated a couple of times. Nevertheless, I confessed to the hubby and he was kinda surprised/uncomfortable/awkward (sp?), Either way, we got past that and had fun anyway. Saturday I bought groceries, ran errands and rested also bbq-d with the rentz. Sunday-went to church and vegged the rest of the day.
In other news, I have a live in housekeeper!!!! She is so nice and I love having a clean house *everyday*! It also frees up some time for me. I don't have to rush home and make dinner, she does it, and she even washes!! I am so happy!! (::Does happy dance::)
